HUG is heading to Uganda in November

HUG will be heading over to Uganda in November 2016 to distribute much needed donations at two Side by Side Schools (Makindye and Rakai). We are currently in the process of collecting and packing our donation boxes and aim to take over 15 large boxes filled with books, scholastic materials, clothes, toys and shoes. Our last humanitarian trip to Uganda was a huge success and the children loved their donation bags.

If you have any items to donate, please contact Cate at catealtamura@aol.com

Thank you for your constant support.

Letter from Pastor Emmanuel

Here is a sweet email l received from Pastor Emmanuel. Emmanuel and his wife Sarah opened a school in Makindye Uganda to assist orphaned children and have been doing an amazing job considering all of the financial contraints. HUG started assisting the school in 2009 and on one trip l decided to hire a couple of buses and take as many children as possible out on a surprise visit to an amusement park. For some, it was the very first they had visited a park of any kind. They had the best day and l look forward to surprising them again soon!!

Below are some pictures of the children at school and the newly painted school building. It looks amazing!!!

Hello Cate,
how are you doing? how is your family?
Both me, Sarah and the children are praying for you and your family. The kids are asking for you! They always remember the day when you took them to the children’s amusement park.
Be blessed
Emmanuel
